‘True North’ Newcastle poetry trail

Comissioned by Creative Central Newcastle and Created as a public poetry trail across the city

The True North poem appeared as window vinyls across venues in Newcastle, with different sections of the poem installed in different locations. Visitors were able to follow the poem as they movedthrough the city during the summer and Autum of 2026, discovering fragments of writing as part of their route.

Narrative Shift

Narrative shift is a project comissioned by Helix Arts, produced and facilitated by Amy Langdown for people who are both LGBTQIA+ and disabled.

The goal of the project was to work towards changing narratives around queerness and disability via spoken word.

This exhibition includes the amazing writing created with the support of Amy Langdown during the project by participants.
