Hi! I’m Amy Langdown, a creative from Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
I have a passion for working with the community to produce and develop creative projects.
Not everyone gets the opportunity to be creative, and I’ve made it my job to change that.

My work with a range of groups to deliver sessions on a variety of artistic pursuits.
Producing
I produce both one-off and reoccuring events, as well as long-term projects.
Illustrating
I make graphics and create illustrations to support clients and projects.
Writing
I am mainly a performance poet, also writing for the page and stage.
OUT OF YOUR HEAD!
Out of Your Head is a one-of-a-kind spoken word event for those of us who think too much and share too little, running out of The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle. It happens on the last Thursday of every month – come along!

As an Illustrator and a Designer, I work to create art that speaks to the world we live in today. It’s important to me that everyone has accessible, culture-first, design.

Queer Joy Captured is a volunteer-run project which provides free and affirming photography services for the Trans and Queer community.
You can sign up for a free photoshoot for yourself, yourself and a partner, even yourself and some friends, or a project. The possibilities are endless and we’re up for almost anything!

Happy New Quee-Year 2024-D!
I spent my New Years Eve doing what I love, performing and what an honour!
Happy New Quee-Year 2024-D! was the third instalment of Mama Rhi (Rhianne Bowes) and Mack Sproates’ all singing, all dancing, all poetry, burlesque, comedy and more cabaret at Alphabetti Theatre, and it was another sold-out success.
Mama Rhi and Mack Sproates are the best hosts for a gay old time, and we got just that. Over the three events, there have been performances from a plethora of amazing acts.
2023 Recap
2023 – What a year!
2023 was a big year for me career-wise; it the first year I have been able to do full-time as a freelance creative practitioner.
I was seeing other 2023 freelance recap posts all over Instagram and wasn’t sure I’d even done enough to justify one, but then I started flicking through my calendar and camera roll and realised…I’ve done loads!
